Abu Dhabi is the largest emirate in the United Arab Emirates, occupying 84 per cent of the national landmass territory. It has 200 islands and a long coastline stretching 700km. What is mainin Dubai Expo 2020 projects


Apart from shopping avenues, Dubai is coming up with amazing 
attractions to boost tourism, especially during Dubai Expo 2020. If Dubai tourism has you wooed, we have lined up the most exciting projects in the pipeline for the expo to add to the charm. 

We can’t think of a better way to get our Dubai travel longings satiated. 

1) Aladdin City 

Taking cue from the mythical story of Aladdin and Sinbad, the Dubai Municipality has begun working on the new Aladdin City project in the middle of Dubai Creek! The dream-like project comprises three towers featuring commercial and hotel space, spread over a distance of 450 metres. Air-conditioned bridges with moving floor will interconnect the triple towers, driveways and parking areas. Fancy you see. 




2) Jewel of the Creek 


Set your mood to experience high living at a new project located between Al Maktoum Bridge, Baniyas Road and the Floating Bridge. Known as Jewel of the Creek, this exalted project boasts of 19-storey apartment buildings, three office towers, two luxury hotels, a recreation centre and a convention centre with a ballroom, as well as a marina and a slew of retail spaces for shops and restaurants where young guests and visitors get an ultimate luxury experience. 

This project has cost $816 million, though it's tough to put a dollar amount on the photo opportunities and the memories that come with something as spectacular as this. 

3) Al Habtoor City 



Luxury has a new address in Dubai. It took three billion UAE Dollars to come up with three high-octane hotels, operated by Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide (St. Regis, Westin Dubai and W Dubai Sheikh Zayed Road) as well as three luxury residential towers. If the money spent on the project is big, the area used for construction is no less. 

The 10 million square foot plot on Sheikh Zayed Road has been used for building dining venues, a French-inspired garden, an iconic Las Vegas style aqua theatre and the world’s first Bentley café! Imagine! 

4) Deira Islands 


Luxury seekers, take note: A 15.3 square km waterfront city, Deira Islands, is something straight out of heaven; literally. Scores of new hotels, serviced apartments, marinas to give space to large yachts, a large shopping mall, an Arabic souk-style night market, an amphitheatre for 30,000 people—all of this is set to come up in Dubai, at a whopping $150 million! 

5) Bollywood Theme Park 

Taking its love for Bollywood a notch higher, Dubai Parks and Resort is set to welcome visitors and movie lovers to its a theme park featuring a 60,000 sq ft stage that will hold Bollywood-themed performances. The resort has also come up with Motiongate Dubai and Legoland Dubai where entertainment options will be in plenty. 

6) Dubai Frame 


If you have been to the Burj Khalifa and Burj Al Arab, make sure you climb up the majestic Dubai Frame as well in your next trip. Touted as one of the major tourist attractions in Dubai, it is a 150 metre high and 93 metre wide tower erected to look like a huge photo/window frame! 
This Zabeel Park beauty has two 150-metre high towers connected by a 100-square-metre bridge to behold Old Dubai from one side and the New Dubai Skyline from another. It has cost a whopping $43.5 million to complete this project. 

7) Bluewaters Island 
Maybe you've never heard of a tourist haunt involving 200 plus retail and eating shops as well as residential, hospitality, entertainment zones and a boutique five-star hotel. If you haven't witnessed any such amazing thing yet, Dubai has something for you. Bluewaters is a man-made multi-purpose island located off the coast of Jumeirah Beach Residence. 

Ain Dubai, the world’s largest observation wheel, will be at the centre of this project. Bluewaters will run a mono rail system to carry visitors to and from the entertainment zone and the metro station. 

8) Dubai Creek Harbour 





Soon, Dubai will be taking over the coveted title of housing the world’s tallest twin towers, aiming to beat Kuala Lumpur’s Petronas! Yes, you read that right, for Emaar Properties and Dubai Holding are bringing forth a six-tower district by the name of Dubai Creek Habour. 

About thrice as large as Downtown Dubai, Dubai Creek Harbour is hailed to feature the world’s tallest twin towers and leave Kuala Lumpur behind. Perched alongside Dubai Creek and bordering Ras Al Khor, the project will have 3,664 office units, 8,000,000 square feet of retail space, 39,000 residential units and 22 hotels with 4,400 rooms.
